Lord Buddha Jayanti

Gautama Buddha was born as Siddhartha Gautama in Lumbini. He was a prince who left his royal life to find the truth about human suffering. After years of meditation, he attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree at Bodh Gaya and became known as the “Enlightened One.”

Buddha Jayanti, also known as Vesak, celebrates his birth, enlightenment, and passing. It reminds us to live with peace, kindness, and wisdom, and to follow a path of compassion and harmony.
